On 2022-08-12, the EU published the Decision "(EU) 2022/1401", amending the Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1698 as regards European standards for certain childcare articles and children’s furniture, as well as some other non-toy products. A product that complies with these standards is to be presumed safe as defined in the General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC).
