In March 2022, the Thai Ministry of Industry has included TIS 685 Part 1-2562 (2019) Toys: Safety requirements Part 1 – Requirements into the Thai National List of Compulsory Standards.
TIS 685 Part 1-2562 (2019) was issued on 2021-02-10 under Section 15 of the Industrial Product Standards Act to replace the original 1997 version.
The industrial product standard was established based on the input from academics, manufacturers, users and the following documents:
