During the pandemic, children stay home for a long period of time and play with various toys.  Parents may have concerns over the safety of toys and children’s products.  STC’s testing and certification services have covered all-rounded to ensure that the toys meet international toy safety standards. Consumers can therefore rest assured that they make purchases on safe, durable and high quality toys.

STC’s toy safety testing service includes Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Testing, Physical & Mechanical Properties Testing and Phthalates Testing, etc.  The EMC Testing carries out tests on toys’ radiated disturbance and electrostatic discharge, etc.  The Physical & Mechanical Properties Testing performs tests on toys’ load stresses, such as compression, torque and tension tests.  The Phthalates Testing tests the amount of hazardous chemicals in toys, etc.
