Introduction

 (since 2020: ) was founded in 1978 in Munich, Germany, as an engineering, consultancy and approval company mainly covering  (Electromagnetic Compatibility),  and .

In 2011, Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (STC), a testing, inspection and certification organization in Hong Kong, China, announced the acquisition of .

Experience combined with professional knowledge and a moderate price policy were the keys to becoming one of the leading private test houses in Europe. For  and  products we can offer assistance to the manufacturers and importers in getting the necessary type-approval for their products and also maintaining a high-quality level during the whole production process.

Accreditations

STC Germany offers a wide range of services mostly in the fields of ,  (LVD),  testing and certification as . We are accredited/-notified by the following organizations:

• DAkkS (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025)
• BNetzA as a  (registered Notified Body number: 2522) for  (Radio Equipment Directive)
• KBA (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt) to perform the necessary  tests for E-marking and certification procedures for car products

Our scope of services includes testing for  (EMC – emission up to 40 GHz and immunity up to 6 GHz), RF-operated Equipment and Systems (RES),  (LVD and CB),  (EMC) for electric/electronic vehicle products (E1), USA (FCC), Canada (ISED), Notified Body evaluation () and much more.
